Created by Mike Flanagan, this gothic horror miniseries premiered on October 12, 2023, on Netflix. It consists of eight episodes that combine elements from various Edgar Allan Poe stories within a non-linear narrative spanning from 1953 to 2023, and follows the decline of the Usher family. The plot revolves around siblings Roderick and Madeline Usher, executives of a corrupt pharmaceutical company, whose fortune and power begin to crumble when Roderick's six children die mysteriously and immediately. Everything leads to dark secrets, sinister pacts, and a supernatural entity named Verna that stalks the family legacy.
